Occupational Therapists

Our registered occupational therapists assist clients in enhancing their daily functioning and quality of life. They focus on helping individuals manage mental health challenges that impact everyday activities, fostering skills for independent living and improved well-being through tailored interventions.

Our Registered Counselling Therapists

Our registered counselling therapists (RCTs/RCT-Cs) provide support and guidance to individuals facing a range of emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. They create a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and work towards achieving emotional well-being and life balance.

Registered Counselling Therapists (RCTs & RCT-Cs) are required to adhere to the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice set forth by the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

The Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT) registers and licenses counselling therapists in Nova Scotia and is mandated by legislation to ensure the public has access to a robust and objective Complaint and Professional Conduct process to investigate complaints against counselling therapists and impose discipline where appropriate.
