Frequently asked questions
Does insurance cover therapy?
Many extended health benefit plans cover psychological services. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your coverage. Our administrative team can also assist with understanding your benefits and submitting claims.
Do I need a referral for an appointment?
Typically, you do not need a referral to book an appointment with our clinicians. You may self-refer by contacting us directly to schedule your first session.
What should I expect in my first session?
During your first session, your therapist will work with you to gather background information and discuss your current concerns. This is an opportunity for you to get comfortable, ask any questions, and begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
How long are therapy sessions, and how often should I attend?
Therapy sessions typically last 50 minutes. The frequency of sessions depends on your individual needs and goals. Your therapist will discuss a recommended schedule with you during your first appointment.
In which areas can your clinicians provide support?
Our team specializes in treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship difficulties, and more. We offer both individual and couples therapy, as well as psychological assessments.
