I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults following a neurodiversity affirming, strength based, and trauma-informed approach. While this approach is particularly supportive of neurodivergent clients, it is also valuable for clients of all neurotypes. I recognize the unique challenges that come with living in a world that does not always accommodate a neurodiverse brain and strive to create a space where clients feel understood and supported!
I aim to help clients build a deeper understanding of their brain and work to discover emotional regulation strategies that truly support their specific needs. Whether you are navigating transitions, friendship struggles, bullying or exclusion, identity related shame, or loneliness relating to feeling misunderstood, you are not alone!
I provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can share their experiences openly and move at a pace that feels right for them! My therapeutic approach prioritizes emotional safety and relationships as the foundation for all therapeutic processes. I follow the client’s lead while gently introducing goal-oriented interventions adapting each session based on the client’s level of regulation.
