Jane Turpin

  • Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate (RCT-C)

Biography

I hold a Master of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and completed my clinical training at the West Island Cancer Wellness Centre in Montreal, where I supported patients and families navigating cancer, end-of-life, and survivorship through individual and group therapy.

I commonly work with adults navigating:

  • Serious or Chronic Illness
  • Grief and loss
  • End-of-Life
  • Life Transitions and Mental Health Challenges
  • Existential or Spiritual Distress

I am passionate about supporting people through significant life transitions. Inspired by my own experience with illness, I have a special interest in supporting those who are navigating physical health challenges and caregiving. I strive to create a warm and grounded space where every story, fear, and question can be explored openly. I draw upon existential, person-centred, emotion-focused, polyvagal and internal family systems foundations and aim to practice in ways that are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in genuine human connection.

Together, we can explore what it means to live authentically and in alignment for you. Wherever you are on your journey, I hope to meet you there as we search for a path forward together.
